I LOVE YOU

You both decided to watch the sunset together for date number 6.  Dinner and movies are great but after the last 5,  you really just wanted to be alone for a change. They don't know what's been on your mind, but you know that the silence of a sunset leaves room for words to stand out. You set the scene with a blanket and some playing cards to take your mind off of how you're going to say it, but you've already decided tonight is definitely the night, but how? Sitting on the blanket, You carry on and start talking about that time you completely embarrassed yourself as a kid. Saying , "right after I fell, I looked up to see if any...... then you catch a reflection of the sunset in their eyes and you freeze mid sentence. "Any what?" they quickly reply.  "after you fell....?"  you shake yourself away from a daze and repeat...slowly "after I......fell...... I uhhh......long pause..  I didn't mean to so soon." you mutter to yourself......didn't mean to what?" ........ "I..uhhh.........fell........ for you...." responding with a look of confusion that quickly morphs to wide eyes , catching even more sunset before.they respond.. "what are you saying?"  With a gloss coat of emotion over your eyes, unable to hold it anymore you say......"I'm saying.....I.....fell.....In LOVE......with you........ I Love you.  turning their head downward they create 5 seconds that feels like eternity so you turn yours away to escape the tension... Then a soft response graces your ear. "I love you....too "  ....you turn back quickly as a wave of joy washes over you.  "I wanted to say it too but was too nervous you would back off, I didn't see this coming.
